Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This role will support K-12 students, with placement based on experience in either elementary or middle/high school settings. The selected candidate will manage a caseload of approximately 15 students and provide a combination of instructional and case management services.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of approximately 15 students Provide case management and ensure compliance with IEP requirements Deliver live classroom instruction Provide one-on-one and small group instruction Participate in co-teaching classroom environments Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher required Strong experience in case management and instructional delivery Ability to support students across K-12 grade levels Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Licensure Requirements:

Active Vermont Special Education Teaching License preferred Provisional license accepted for experienced candidates

Pay:

$43.00 - $49.00 per hour
