In this role, you will develop and implement tailored educational plans, foster inclusive classroom environments, and support the developmental growth of children with disabilities. Your energetic approach will inspire students to reach their full potential while collaborating closely with families, therapists, and school staff to ensure comprehensive support. Responsibilities Design and deliver individualized lesson plans aligned with students' IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals, focusing on literacy, math, communication skills, and behavioral management. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of students with autism, developmental disabilities, hearing impairments, or other special needs such as deaf education. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and adjust instructional approaches accordingly. Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques and behavioral health strategies to promote positive behavior and social skills. Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to integrate speech therapy, early intervention techniques, and classroom management strategies into daily activities. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, IEP goals, and behavioral reports while ensuring compliance with educational standards. Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation, mentoring, and inclusive learning for all children. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in special education settings is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Experience developing curriculum tailored for diverse learners including Montessori or preschool environments is advantageous. Proven ability to manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with literacy education, math instruction, tutoring methods, and library services for young learners. Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with students, parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams. Experience working in private schools or settings emphasizing special education programs is preferred.
