TEACHERS!

Primm ABC Child Care Center & PreSchool is seeking experienced (minimum one year) early childhood professionals to be part of our team. This position is for Educators of children from Ages 1 to 5 to work in a classroom, planning and implementing daily curriculum from the Creative Curriculum format. Teacher will create and maintain a literacy rich, multicultural and bias-free environment. Must maintain childcare licensing requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

A current Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate, an associate or higher degree with the equivalent of 30 quarter credits of human development, human services, or early childhood education (can provide a professional development plan to obtain requirement) Ability to work with computers and learn software programs Good communication and writing skills Must meet federal and state health and safety standards and maintain credentials for childcare (CPR, First Aid, HIV, CPS training, clear TB test) Have clean criminal background check Ability to lift a minimum of 45 pounds Ability to multi-task while maintaining a sense of humor Ability to maintain respectful interactions with children Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum Observe, support and document children's growth, conduct parent conferences Skilled in interpersonal relationships. Additional Requirements for Lead ECEAP/Seattle Preschool Teacher An associate or higher degree with the equivalent of 30 college quarter credits in early childhood education. These 30 credits may be included in the degree or in addition to the degree, or A valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education (Pre-K-Grade 3) or Early Childhood Special Education. Ongoing training, workshops, conferences and growth opportunities are available. Salary commensurate with education/experience.
