At Bloom, we believe children thrive when educators feel supported. Our team partners with childcare centers and early learning programs to provide classroom support, substitute coverage, float assistance, and additional staffing when programs need an extra set of hands. As a Childcare Support Specialist, you will work in a variety of early learning environments, supporting children, educators, and programs while helping maintain safe, engaging, and nurturing learning experiences. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education, enjoy working with diverse age groups, and value flexibility in their work schedule. Responsibilities Provide safe, nurturing, and attentive care for children in early learning and childcare settings. Support classroom teachers and program staff in maintaining daily routines and learning activities. Assist with classroom supervision, transitions, meals, rest time, and other daily program needs. Foster positive relationships with children while supporting their social, emotional, and developmental growth. Adapt quickly to different classroom environments, age groups, and program needs. Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and center-specific policies. Communicate professionally with program staff, families, and fellow team members. Maintain professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude while representing Bloom Childcare Support. Qualifications Experience working with children in childcare, preschool, early learning, education, or related settings preferred. Passion for supporting children, educators, and early learning programs. Ability to adapt to different work environments and classroom needs. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Portable Background Check, STARS training, and Food Handler Card preferred or willingness to obtain. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to childcare programs within the service area.
