Key Qualifications:

Completion of a master's degree in athletic training or related field Current board certification as an Athletic Trainer Demonstrated experience applying sports medicine techniques within a school or athletics setting Eligibility for credentialing through the Department of Health Willingness to travel alongside sports teams for state competitions as needed Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with students, coaches, and school staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver onsite sports medicine services and first aid to student athletes during practices and games Monitor, assess, and manage athletic injuries, coordinating care and rehabilitation plans Educate athletes on injury prevention and health maintenance best practices Collaborate with coaches, school administrators, and health professionals to ensure comprehensive student athlete support Travel with designated sports teams for out-of-town competitions and state events Maintain accurate records as part of compliance with school and Department of Health protocols Navigate the BIE adjudication process in addition to standard credentialing (may cause a brief start delay) This contract position is designed for a professional athletic trainer eager to make a difference in the well-being and success of student athletes.
