Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time special education teacher position is available to support kindergarten through 2nd grade students with moderate to mild needs in a dedicated school setting in Amery, WI. This role is contracted from August 27th through June 6th and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a small caseload of approximately 10 students.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid cross categorical Wisconsin special education teaching license Experience working with kindergarten to 2nd grade students Ability to effectively support students with moderate to mild special education needs Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs Deliver specialized instruction across multiple areas based on student goals and state standards Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state regulations
