Job Description

Qualifications & Skills:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (appropriate to Wisconsin's requirements) Experience with K-5 students in a special education capacity is highly preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication skills for proactive engagement with families, staff, and students Organizational skills to efficiently manage classroom activities and documentation Dedication to fostering an equitable and welcoming learning environment Adaptability and creativity in lesson planning and classroom management
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs Provide differentiated instruction and adapt teaching methods to support a range of abilities Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff Monitor and document progress, adjusting plans as needed to promote student success Communicate regularly with families and caregivers regarding student development Maintain a positive, resourceful classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and inclusion As part of this contract role, you'll be part of a motivated educational team dedicated to making a genuine impact.
