Applicants must be available Monday through Friday 8:15 am- 5:15 pm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills. The teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing educational activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, and meeting the basic needs of each child. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Engage with children through play-based learning activities that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space. Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary to meet individual needs. Experience Experience working in a licensed center is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with both children and parents effectively. A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.
