September We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Primary Teacher to join a specialist SEN school supporting pupils within Key Stage 1. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a well-supported, nurturing environment. The Role You will be leading a mixed-ability KS1 class, supporting pupils with a range of complex needs. The class group reflects the school's broad spectrum of SEN provision. Needs within the Class Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Physical Disabilities (PD) Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs Create a safe, structured and inclusive classroom environment Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider multidisciplinary teams Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively Support communication, behaviour and sensory needs Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential Proven experience working within SEN settings - essential Experience teaching KS1 or primary-aged pupils Strong understanding of ASD and complex learning needs Confident managing challenging behaviours positively A patient, resilient and proactive approach What Teaching Personnel Can Offer Long-term, full-time positions Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant Competitive pay, paid weekly Access to training and professional development The opportunity to make a real difference every day If you are passionate about supporting young people with complex needs and helping them reach their full potential, we would love to hear from you.
