We are seeking bilingual Spanish-speaking Special Education Teachers who are passionate about serving diverse learners and building strong partnerships with multilingual families. This role is ideal for educators who believe every student deserves rigorous instruction, belonging, advocacy, and access to individualized support. Position Summary The Bilingual Special Education Teacher provides specially designed instruction and case management services for students with disabilities while also helping strengthen communication and trust with Spanish-speaking students and families. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Deliver specialized instruction aligned to academic, behavioral, communication, and social-emotional goals Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and school leaders Communicate effectively with English- and Spanish-speaking families regarding student progress, meetings, and supports Support inclusive classroom practices, accommodations, and behavior interventions Maintain accurate compliance documentation and progress monitoring data Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field Valid teaching license in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain licensure) Ability to communicate professionally in both
English and Spanish Preferred:
Experience serving multilingual learners Experience in inclusive/co-teaching environments Knowledge of culturally responsive instructional practices Experience working in urban or diverse school communities

From $52,580.00 per year
