Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) to serve as an Elementary Resource Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This role offers the opportunity to provide targeted support to students in a collaborative and inclusive school environment. Position Overview

Elementary Resource CaseloadPay Rate:
$40-$48 per hour Responsibilities- Provide resource support services to students with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver small group and individualized instruction based on student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations
- Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families
- Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment Requirements
- Active Special Education certification required
- Experience working with elementary students preferred
- Experience in resource or inclusion settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
