Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW
About the Position As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning in students during a key stage of their development. You will design dynamic lessons, build strong relationships, and create a supportive classroom environment where every student can thrive.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education Bachelor's degree in education or related field Teacher certification preferred Experience teaching elementary grades Strong classroom management and communication skills Excellent communication and technology skills Other Requirements Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid IVP fingerprint clearance card by the time of hire.
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS
Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based lesson plans Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment Assess student progress and tailor instruction to meet diverse needs Communicate regularly with parents and guardians Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and school culture Participate in school events and activities Complete additional duties in collaboration with the team to deliver an exceptional student experience Maintains accurate, complete, legible and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation. Takes necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities. Experience Preferred 1 year(s): Teaching Education Required Bachelors or better
