PreK Classroom Aide

Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a PreK Classroom Aide, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a nurturing, engaging, and supportive environment for young learners. In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers to implement lesson plans, support children's developmental needs, and foster a positive classroom atmosphere. Duties:

Help prepare classroom activities, assignments, and/or materials (e.g., art projects, language skills, etc.) for the purpose of supporting and reinforcing classroom goals and objectives. Assists students, individually or in small groups, with lesson assignments (e.g., read stories, provide writing assistance, reinforce language skills, numbers, alphabet, etc.) for the purpose of practicing and/or reinforcing learning concepts. Maintain classroom equipment, work area, and manual or electronic files and records (e.g., clean tables, sign-in/sign-out logs, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring availability of items; providing a safe learning environment; and/or meeting mandated requirements. Monitors individual and/or groups of students in a variety of settings (e.g., classroom, playground, lunchtime, toileting, etc.) for the purpose of providing a safe and positive learning environment. Perform general clerical tasks (e.g., laminating, making posters, making copies, bulletin boards, filing, etc.) for the purpose of helping the teacher get instructional materials ready. Reports observations and incidents relating to specific students (e.g., accidents, appropriate and/or inappropriate social behavior, violation of rules, safety conditions, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information to appropriate instructional and/or administrative personnel. Help execute classroom celebrations (e.g., birthdays, holiday parties, etc.) for the purpose of building a diverse understanding of cultural customs. Supervise and impart instruction to students in the absence of the class teacher. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Certificate Six months of experience in Early Childhood Education and at least 12 credit hours in early childhood, child development, or aclosely related field. Experience cannot be gained from church bible class teaching. Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. Current First Aid & CPR Certification. Current AZ Driver's License. Current Background check through

AZCBC Pay:

From $15.15 per hour
