In this role, you will step into classrooms across various grade levels and subjects to provide engaging instruction, maintain a positive learning environment, and support students academically, spiritually, and socially. Whether covering short-term absences or assisting with special projects, you will play an important role in maintaining continuity in education while helping students grow in both knowledge and character through a biblical worldview. Duties & Responsibilities Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or develop engaging classroom activities aligned with curriculum goals Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment Support students with varying learning styles and educational needs Encourage creativity, literacy, academic growth, and Christ-centered character development Communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and administration Assist with classroom organization, lesson preparation, and educational activities Apply classroom management strategies that encourage positive behavior and smooth transitions Foster a Christ-centered atmosphere that reflects the mission and values of Christian education Qualifications & Experience Prior classroom experience preferred (private school or educational settings a plus) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with children of various ages and backgrounds Experience with tutoring, mentoring, or classroom instruction is beneficial Familiarity with lesson planning, curriculum support, and behavior management strategies Passion for Christian education and a heart for investing in students Why Join Freedom Christian Academy?
