Duties Implement lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher or develop your own engaging activities aligned with curriculum standards Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment for all students Support students' social-emotional development through positive interactions and encouragement Assist with classroom routines, including attendance, transitions, and organization of learning materials Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with special education requirements or working with children with autism Communicate clearly with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and classroom activities Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning Qualifications Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or working with children in educational settings is highly desirable Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Familiarity with early childhood education principles, literacy education, math instruction, and childhood development Experience working with individuals with autism or in special education settings is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and backgrounds Preschool experience or Montessori training is advantageous Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and demonstrate flexibility in daily responsibilities Embark on a fulfilling journey as a Substitute Teacher where your energy fuels student success!
