K12 Substitute Teacher - Immediate Start

There's still Time to Make a Difference in the 2025-2026 School Year! We're hiring substitute teachers for the 2025-2026 school year to support students in inclusive and special education classrooms. These are not summer roles, they're full-year opportunities to build classroom experience, develop your teaching practice, and make a lasting impact. You'll work with multiple classrooms, gaining valuable teaching experience and building lasting relationships in one consistent setting.

Responsibilities:

• Support the school where needed
• Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Assign lessons and follow the classroom teacher's lesson plans
• Maintaining a safe learning environment
• Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the students' learning experiences and support them as needed

Required Qualifications:

• 30 Day Sub Permit OR Single/Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience working with children
• Applicants must have professional proficiency in English
• US Work Authorization as Zen Educate is unable to sponsor any employment visa or relocation assistance at this time.
• Candidates must be 18 years or older to apply

Physical Requirements:

• Comfortable being on your feet and moving around the classroom throughout the day
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and safely assist students when needed (kneeling, bending, quick response)
• Additional physical requirements may be requested during your application process

Preferred Qualifications:

• Subject matter expertise
• Experience supporting students

Salary Pay :

$210 per day, paid weekly.
