Duties Step into classrooms promptly to deliver prepared lessons aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, and social studies. Implement effective classroom management strategies to foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students. Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with special education requirements or working with individuals with autism. Engage students through interactive activities, encouraging participation and fostering a love of learning. Monitor student behavior and provide positive guidance to promote focus and cooperation throughout lessons. Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions between classes and communicate any student needs or concerns clearly. Maintain accurate attendance records and report on student progress as required by school policies. Qualifications Prior classroom experience or background in early childhood education, preschool, or elementary settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Experience working with children of varying ages, including those with special needs or in private school environments. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents. Familiarity with behavior management strategies and literacy education methods such as Montessori or childhood development principles. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and demonstrate flexibility in scheduling. Passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering their academic and social growth.
