DESCRIPTION
: Substitute teachers receive short-term assignments to cover teacher absences from the classroom and are responsible for following lesson plans to maintain and further student learning. Successful applicants will receive assignments through the Frontline substitute scheduling system.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires at minimum an Emergency Substitute Teacher Permit for Prospective Teachers issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) Candidates can qualify to apply for this Permit if they are enrolled in a regionally-accredited four-year California college or university, have a minimum of 90 semester units and have passed the CBEST exam If you have not yet passed the CBEST Test please schedule this test before applying or request a transcript evaluation from our office by emailing recruitment@ousd.org Please click here for information about the
