DUTIES:
1. Perform instructional duties within a self-contained classroom that achieve maximum progress from all students. 2. Other related duties as required and/or assigned by the Principal/Superintendent. 3. Ability to establish and maintain a quality learning environment 4. Ability to demonstrate effective use of current instructional techniques and strategies 5. Commitment to continuous improvement as a professional educator 6. Ability to collaborate and work harmoniously with an instructional team 7. Ability and willingness to coach and/or assist with extra-curricular activity programs is desirable 8. Must be able to deal with a wide range of personalities, situations requiring diplomacy, friendliness, and poise 9. Ability to maintain positive relationships with staff, parents, and students is essential Qualifications 1. California Multiple Subjects Credential, Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe and CLAD are required. Autism Certification (Preferred) 2. Must submit to TB Test, Fingerprinting/Background check and pre-employment physical (required before being employed with the District). 3. CPR/First Aid Certification 4. Experience teaching primary grades 5. Strong knowledge of California content standards and familiarity with Common Core Standards Requirements / Qualifications

Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe CLAD Must be able to complete the required documents for a TPSL (Teaching Permit for Statutory Leave) Comments and Other Information If selected for a position, the following will be required: DOJ/FBI (fingerprint) clearance and a current (within 60 days of date of hire) TB clearance.
