Apr 28, 2026 Job Description Oxford Middle School is seeking a dedicated and flexible Science Educator for a long-term 8th grade substitute assignment. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player committed to excellence in teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for all students.
Certification:
Valid CT Certification preferrably in Science (030, 031, 032, 033, 034)
Experience:
Middle school experience preferred; must be willing & able to work with technology
Instructional Skills:
Familiarity with NGSS and ability to create an engaging learning environment.
Collaboration:
Able to effectively communicate & collaborate with colleagues & families. Other duties as determined by the principal Start date: 04/28/2026
