MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

Associate's Degree or a minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited post-secondary college/university Experience in a classroom environment or similar

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain continuity of instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher Follow school policies, procedures, and classroom management expectations to ensure a safe and productive learning environment Take attendance, monitor student behavior, and address minor disciplinary issues as needed Provide clear instructions and support to students while encouraging engagement and participation Adapt to different grade levels, subjects, and classroom settings on short notice when help is needed elsewhere across campus Communicate any important classroom updates or incidents to the regular teacher and school administration Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, or other assigned duties
