Job Summary Join our vibrant educational community as a Substitute Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year! In this dynamic role, you will bring enthusiasm, flexibility, and a passion for teaching to classrooms across grades 6-12. Your primary mission is to provide instructional support, ensuring that students remain engaged and continue their learning journey in the absence of their regular teacher. Duties Deliver prepared lessons and activities aligned with curriculum standards across different subjects such as literacy, math, and social studies Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment Support students' individual needs, including working with children with special education requirements Adapt instructional materials as needed to meet diverse learning styles Maintain classroom organization and ensure all students are participating actively and responsibly Communicate regularly with school staff regarding student progress and any behavioral or academic concerns Foster positive relationships with students by encouraging participation, curiosity, and confidence in their abilities Skills Experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff & students Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with special needs or those requiring individualized support This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about education who thrive in flexible roles that challenge their creativity and instructional skills.
