Holy Family - PreSchool Aide Diocesan MZ Services of Fort Wayne South Bend, IN Job Details Full-time 12 hours ago Qualifications English High school diploma or GED Full Job Description PreSchool Teacher's Aide Holy Family School in South Bend is in search of a qualified person to aid one PreSchool teacher. The ideal candidate will be faith-filled and dedicated to providing quality care for students of all abilities integrating the mission of Holy Family School and the Diocese of Fort Wayne / South Bend in all classroom activities.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Work with teachers to foster a nurturing environment, promote social / emotional development, and care for the individual needs of each student. Aid the classroom teacher with classroom management helping maintain student organization, behavior, and transitions throughout the day. Assists with copying, delivering materials to the Office, and accompanying children as they move about the building. Works with students individually or in small groups as directed by the classroom teacher to facilitate classroom instruction. Communicates regularly and effectively with the classroom teacher, related arts teachers, and Office personnel regarding kindergarten classroom plans. Works cooperatively with administrators, kindergarten classroom teachers, other staff, and parents on various initiatives, projects, and field trips as directed by classroom teachers and administration. Substitutes when asked for kindergarten classroom teacher absences. Recognizes the variety of student learning styles and facilitates learning by working with the classroom teacher to provide for individual student needs. Commits to ongoing faith formation and professional growth. Fosters the spiritual development of students by modeling Catholic doctrine, values, and morals. Fulfill all
On My Way PreK Certifications Education, Experience and Skills Required:
High School Diploma High level thinking and problem solving skills. Ability to speak and write fluently and grammatically correct English. Strong written, verbal presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs, Stand for 30 minutes at a time, Operate a computer, hand-held learning devices and other office equipment.
