Substitute Teacher for 2026-2027 - Shawnee Mission School District

We are hiring substitute teachers in Shawnee Mission School District for the 2026-2027 school year. No previous experience is required! Remember that educator who made a difference in your life? Minimum Requirements:

• 18+ years of age ( 22+ to substitute within high school level )
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fingerprint background check and Tuberculosis test completed within the last 12 months Responsibilities and Job Description(s):
• Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
• For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments Perks you'll enjoy with
