Aug 1, 2026 Job Description This position is for the 26-27 school year This is a full-time position with benefits. The School Designated Guest Teacher (permanent substitute) will report to the school each instructional day. The SDGT will be assigned to a school location and perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent within the school. (- Travel requirement: If there are no teacher absences at the assigned school on a particular day, the SDGT may be required to fill a teacher absence at another school location that day.
Total Contract Days:
187 days (10-month employee status) 170 Instructional Days 7 Bullitt Days 4 Professional Learning Days 2 Teacher Opening and Closing Days 4 Paid Holidays Leave Allocation 10 Sick Days 3 Personal Days 3 Emergency Days Minimum requirement: Must have a Bachelor's Degree- Salary is a "
DAILY RATE
" based on the board approved salary schedule for the 2026-2026 school year!Benefits:
$20,000 life insurance policy- paid for by the State of Kentucky $30,000 life insurance policy
