The John F. Kennedy School is seeking an exceptional and dynamic candidate to serve as a school building substitute for the upcoming school year beginning September 2026. The school building substitute will join a vibrant and supportive team that prioritizes collaboration, creativity, flexibility, and a strong commitment to the goals of the district, as well as to our students, families, and staff.
The John F. Kennedy School is an inclusive community serving over 480 students in grades K-5. School Building Substitute
The School Building Substitute provides instructional and classroom support across grade levels as needed. This position requires a flexible, collaborative professional who can build positive relationships with students and staff while maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of classroom teachers.
A successful Building Substitute will:

Be able to follow lesson plans and implement instructional activities effectively.
Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and sound judgment.
Hold a bachelor's degree, preferably in education or a related field.
COMPENSATION
