August 26, 2026, with new faculty orientation on August 21 & 24•this position will end on the last student day in June of 2027 The wellness teacher teaches wellness classes (combination of physical education and health) to students in grades 5-8. Students in all grades will be seen on a weekly basis, either once or twice a week. In addition to being responsible for executing culturally responsive and inclusive lessons, the wellness teacher will also maintain a supply closet, track the wellness budget, and instruct health lessons that include the puberty lessons relevant to each grade. A candidate familar with the revised Comprehensive Health and Physical Education (CHPE) Framework is sought after. Candidates licensed in other subject areas are also preferred. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. This position reports to the building principal. Lincoln, Massachusetts Lincoln is a residential suburb located 12 miles northwest of Boston.
