Building Substitute Teacher (School Year) - Marblehead High School Marblehead Public Schools - 3.3 Marblehead, MA Job Details Full-time 12 hours ago Qualifications Conflict resolution in education Fire safety Full Job Description Building Substitute - Marblehead High SchoolMarblehead Public Schools wants permanent substitutes in our buildings. In this role, you will report to the same school each day and fill daily needs as assigned. You will report to the school Principal. This role will follow the school calendar and work Monday through Friday.
POSITION GOAL
The substitute teacher is the temporary primary instructional delivery person in the classroom. The position is demanding, varied and complex. The substitute teacher must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position required flexibility to move into different assignments regularly as needed. Must be able to assist in the protection of students and school property, assist the principal in fire and other emergency drills as required by law and School Committee policy. Must be able to walk and stand on tile flooring for up to 1-2 miles per day, lift up-to 25 pounds
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor or higher degree preferredTeaching experience preferredMassachusetts DESE license preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and
