Long Term Substitute Kindergarten Marblehead Public Schools - 3.3 Marblehead, MA Job Details Full-time 13 hours ago Qualifications Teaching Certification Bachelor's degree Parent-teacher conferences (communication methods) Full Job Description Creates and maintains an effective and developmentally appropriate learning environment for childrenManages student behavior to provide a safe and optimal classroom climateParticipates in a variety of meetings and professional development activities to improve instruction and become up to date on district initiativesAssesses student progress towards learning targets, objectives, and expectationsCollects data to document student progress and aid in planningProvides feedback on progress to students, parents, and administrationHolds parent conferences in the fall and spring to discuss individual student progressInstructs students in English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and an anti-bullying curriculumPrepares daily lessons and activitiesConsistent and on-time attendance is required for supervision and instruction of the studentsProvides targeted intervention to close student learning gapsBachelors DegreeA valid license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary EducationExcellent oral and written communication skillsAttends and participates in faculty meetingsConsistent, reliable and punctual attendance is essential for supervision and instruction of the studentsResponsible for implementing other job related duties as needed
