POSITION

Long Term Substitute - Science Teacher Approximate Dates April 13, 2026 - June 10, 2026

QUALIFICATIONS:

A valid Michigan teaching certificate endorsement of DI, DX, BA or BX preferred. Be eligible for a substitute teaching permit required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

: Knowledge and ability to effectively follow district and state curriculum assessment requirements. Ability to stay current regarding art topics, trends and career opportunities for students to pursue. Ability to work collaboratively as a team member of an effective Professional Learning Community (PLC). Knowledge of Positive Behavior Interventions & Support (PBIS). Knowledge of and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool to enhance teaching and learning. Knowledge of and ability to implement on a regular basis cooperative learning strategies and flexible grouping strategies. Willing to work collaboratively with teams of teachers (including special education teachers). Follow and implement all Board of Education policies, administrative guidelines and building regulations. Willing to perform other duties as necessary and/or directed by the principal.
