Full Job Description Theology Teacher Catholic Central High School Grand Rapids, MI Start Date:
20262027 School Year 1st Semester Help lead our students to be bold, excellent, and holy. We are seeking a Theology Teacher who brings strong content knowledge, a student-centered approach, and the genuine disposition to mentor as naturally as they teach. This full-time position, beginning in the 20262027 school year, is rooted in our mission to develop servant leaders for a Christ-centered life. Youll join a faculty and student body that are curious, collaborative, and eager to be challenged a community where strong relationships and shared mission make this both a professional and vocational home. What Youll Do- Work as a minister of the Catholic faith and uphold values in word and action
- Collaborate with the head Campus Minister and team in implementing the goals of the Campus Ministry program-Design and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction rooted in Theology
- Foster a classroom culture that encourages curiosity, discussion, and active participation
- Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen instruction and improve student outcomes
- Use a variety of assessment methods to support and measure student growth
- Integrate technology to enhance learning experiences
- Support students both in and out of the classroom through availability and mentorship
- Contribute to the broader school community through involvement beyond the classroom
- Participate actively in professional development and school-wide initiatives Who You Are
- Hold (or are eligible for) a Roman Catholic Theology degree (preferred)
- Background in Cathecesis (preferred)
- Are organized, engaging, and relational in your approach to teaching
- Value collaboration and professional growth
- Are committed to supporting the mission and identity of Catholic Central
