Central Elementary School Full School Year - Each school day

Edustaff Job Summary:
The substitute classroom teacher will be responsible for the delivery of engaging high-quality instruction to all students. The building sub will fill in each school day during the 2025-26 school year in different classrooms as needed.

Qualifications Must be an approved permitted substitute teacher through Edustaff Experience teaching at the early elementary grades Experience working with special needs students in regular classroom Experience working with special education teachers and paraprofessionals Knowledge of differentiated instruction to meet various student needs present in the classroom Experience with and/or ability to team teach and flexibly group students with grade level peers Strong organization, classroom management and collaboration & communication skills Must have an understanding of MiBLSi and strategies for implementing positive behavior supports Must have an understanding of RTI and its application in the classroom Active and continuous learner in the area of elementary education, research based instructional strategies, and best practices Please apply online at: https://www.portageps.org/page/employment-at-pps Who is PPS?
