No previous experience is required! Remember that educator who made a difference in your life? Now it's your turn! Minimum requirements:

Substitute Teacher:

At least 18 years of age AND Holds an MN Tiered or Short Call Substitute License OR Holds a bachelor's degree and is willing to apply for the

Short Call Substitute License Substitute Paraeducator:

At least 18 years of age AND Holds a high school diploma (or equivalent) and has a passing score on the ParaPro/ParaEducator Exam OR Has completed 60+ college credits Perks you'll enjoy with

Responsibilities:

• Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
• For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher.

Substitute aides may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher's aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant or education assistant.
