Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a Multilingual Learner/English Language Development Teacher at Falcon Heights Elementary (.6 FTE) and Central Park Elementary (.2 FTE). This is a .8 FTE long-term substitute position starting August 24, 2026 and ending June 10, 2027.

Lourdes Flores-Hanson, Multilingual Learning Program Administrator Qualifications:
A K-12 ESL MN
teaching license is required Commitment to an equitable education experience for all. Demonstrated understanding of cultural competence. The candidate should also possess strong instructional skills centered in cultural responsiveness.
Specific qualities include:
Demonstrated commitment to developing lessons and instruction centered in racial and cultural equity Cross-cultural experience Strong ability to work with students and teachers around differentiating academic English instruction based on students' home language and English proficiency level Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction with experience and understanding of the WIDA framework (including assessments) Ability to build relationships with students, families and staff Experience with working in collaboration with a variety of teams.
Compensation :
Placement on salary scale is per teacher contract agreement according to education and years of teaching experience. Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $53,085 (prorated based on FTE).
