Substitute Teacher 2026-2027 School Year Charter Schools Position Summary Charter schools are seeking reliable and flexible Substitute Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. Substitute Teachers provide classroom instruction and supervision in the absence of the regular teacher while maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work with various grade levels and subjects. Responsibilities Follow lesson plans and classroom procedures. Maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment. Supervise and engage students throughout the school day. Manage classroom behavior according to school expectations. Communicate professionally with school staff and administrators. Complete attendance and other assigned duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma required; college coursework preferred. Substitute certification or permit, if required by state regulations. Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
