Job Overview:
Lebanon Middle School seeks a full-time Long Term Substitute 6th Grade Language Arts Teacher for an anticipated period of 63 workdays. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build relationships with students, staff, administration and families, and the ability to work as a collaborative team member. The regular work schedule is 7.5 hours a day, Monday-Friday with a 30-minute duty-free lunch.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field is preferred.
  • Valid NH English Language Education (5-8) Certification.
  • At least 1 year of teaching experience is preferred.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 15 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Based off District's current Long Term Substitute Teacher rates.
