Lightbridge Academy of Hackensack is seeking caring, reliable, and flexible On-Call Substitute Teachers to support our infant through preschool programs. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young children and are looking for a flexible, part-time role.

Position Overview:

As an on-call substitute, you will step in as needed to maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Candidates must have weekday availability and be comfortable working with children ranging from infants to preschool age.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a warm, safe, and supportive environment for children Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities and routines Follow lesson plans and classroom procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom spaces Communicate effectively with staff and leadership

Qualifications:

Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children preferred Flexible schedule with availability Monday-Friday (on-call basis) Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, punctual, and adaptable Passion for early childhood education
