Relief Teacher- Baldwin Pennsauken Public Schools is an urban/suburban Pre-K to 12th grade school district of approximately 5,000 students located in
Camden County, New Jersey Responsibilities:
Works cooperatively and collaboratively with staff. Creates and environment of respect and rapport. Guides children in working and playing with other children. Provides coverage to preschool teachers daily. Assists with supervision of students during regular play periods. Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning materials or skills initially introduced by the teacher. Assists with creating an atmosphere that is conducive to learning and appropriate maturity and interests of the students. Assists teacher in guiding the learning process (consistent with the course of study) toward the achievement of curriculum goals and objectives and communicating these goals and objectives to the students. Guides independent study, enrichment work, and remedial work as assigned by the classroom teacher. Reads to students, listens to students and participates in other forms of communication with students. Ensures confidentiality of student information. Reflects on own professional development needs, attends workshops, reads research articles, consults with others, etc. Performs other related professional duties as assigned by administration.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, Endorsement #1013 Elementary P-3 and/or Endorsement #1000 New Jersey State CertificationREQUIRED
Desired Experience:
1 year teaching in a Preschool program MUST pass NJ Criminal History Review Unit fingerprinting requirement New Jersey State residency requirements for public employees in effectTerms:
