Lower School Permanent Substitute Teacher The Abraham Joshua Heschel School - 4.3 New York, NY Job Details Full-time $55,000 - $60,000 a year 11 hours ago Qualifications School experience Working with children Working with students Working with elementary school students Full Job Description Abraham Joshua Heschel School is currently seeking a permanent Lower School substitute teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This is a full-time exempt position that follows the standard departmental five day schedule. You may be assigned to one classroom for the day or rotate between classrooms as needed. , however, you may be asked to step in to assist other dictions as needed. Attendance at a weekly faculty meeting and lunch/recess coverage are also required. Abraham Joshua Heschel School, located in New York City, is an independent Jewish school, N-12, unaffiliated with any single movement or synagogue. Minimum Requirements:
College degree required. Experience working with children in an educational setting. Qualified applicants should upload a cover letter and resume.
