Immediately Job Description Bensalem Township School District is hiring a Long-Term Substitute Gifted Teacher at Belmont and Elementary Schools. The goal of the Long-Term Substitute Gifted Teacher is to lead students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, psychological growth and to provide appropriate learning experiences for gifted learners. This position is anticipated that it will be from April 22, 2026 until the end of the year.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

: PA Certificate in any content area Knowledge of content in certification area Classroom/group management skills Human relations skills Planning skills Ability to use instructional materials and equipment Knowledge of child growth and development Instructional skills Knowledge and valuing of the origins and nature of high levels if intelligence, including creative expressions of intelligence and how intelligence manifests itself in different domains and in diverse learners. Knowledge and understanding of the cognitive, social, and emotional characteristics, needs, and potential challenges experienced by gifted learners from diverse populations.
