Aug 18, 2026 Job Description Long-term substitute position for the 2026-27 school year. Seeking a qualified long-term substitute to provide Grade 4 English Language Arts instruction during an extended teacher absence. Responsibilities include delivering standards-aligned literacy instruction, implementing lesson plans, maintaining classroom routines, assessing student progress, and collaborating with staff and families to support student achievement. Must hold required elementary PA certification. Experience teaching Grade 4 or upper elementary ELA. Familiarity with literacy curriculum/programs such as Wit & Wisdon or similar standards-based ELA resources. Experience with small group instruction, intervention, and data-driven instructional practices. •As necessary, a separate email will be sent with a link and access code to comply with the Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure release forms. If applicable, you will have to provide email addresses for both current and prior employers.
