= $189/DAY (7-Hour Day)
QUALIFICATIONS
Current New Jersey Instructional Substitute Certificate (Endorsement 9041) required.
Must have a current criminal history background check on file.
REPORTS TO
The Principal or an appropriately certificated designee.
SCHEDULE AND ASSIGNMENT
4 days per week, 7:35 a.m.-2:35 p.m.
7 hours a day, not to exceed 28 hours a week.
Must be available to work Mondays and Fridays.
Will serve as a building-based permanent substitute, reporting daily to a designated location (e.g., auditorium or cafeteria) and providing coverage as assigned.
REPORTS TO
Principal or appropriately certificated designee.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The permanent substitute teacher is responsible for the instruction and supervision of students in accordance with standards established by the Board of Education.
The permanent substitute shall:
Help supervise students and support their work (e.g., Google Classroom and other teacher-assigned tasks).
Provide an atmosphere designed to stimulate student learning.
Organize and structure the learning environment effectively.
Support and enforce school rules, administrative regulations, and board policies.
Enable each student to continue their education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of the regular teacher.
