General Statement of Duties The employee in this classification provides instruction to students in Henrico County Public Schools. Essential Duties Follows lesson plans submitted by the regular classroom teacher Ensures classroom management Serves appropriate duty assignments Leaves appropriate documentation for the teacher Performs other duties as assigned by the schoolMinimum Qualifications Permanent Substitute Teacher:
o Have minimum of 60 credit hours or 2 years working with children. o Have completed the Child Abuse and Neglect Recognition and Intervention training Recognition and Intervention training All Substitute Positions require a Child Abuse and Neglect Recognition and Intervention certificate.
