Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and organized Virtual School Substitute Teacher to provide online instruction, support student achievement, and create a positive virtual classroom experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, comfortable using technology, and able to build strong relationships with students and families in a remote environment.

Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:

Conducting live virtual classes using online learning platforms Creating and implementing engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards Monitoring student attendance, participation, and academic progress Providing individualized academic support and feedback Grading assignments, assessments, and projects promptly Communicating regularly with students, parents, and school staff Maintaining accurate student records and documentation Facilitating online discussions and encouraging student engagement Supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth Maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive virtual classroom environment What a Typical Day May Look Like Logging into the virtual classroom platform and preparing instructional materials Hosting live online classes and interactive learning activities Hosting face-to-face classes and/or virtual hybrid classes Meeting individually with students for academic support Responding to emails and parent communications Collaborating with fellow teachers and administrators Reviewing assignments and updating student grades Qualifications Valid teaching certification/license Previous online teaching experience is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency with educational technology and virtual meeting platforms Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Benefits Flexible remote work environment Competitive compensation based on experience Supportive and collaborative team culture How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and any relevant certifications or teaching portfolios for consideration.
