Talented and Gifted Academy (TAG Academy) is a premier early childhood education center dedicated to building strong literacy foundations, character, and individualized learning experiences. We serve children from 6 weeks to 12 years old in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.

Position Overview:

TAG Academy is seeking dependable, professional Substitute Teachers to provide high-quality classroom coverage on an as-needed basis. This role is critical to ensuring continuity, safety, and excellence when lead teachers are absent. Duties Maintain a structured, safe, and engaging classroom environment Follow lesson plans and daily schedules provided by the lead teacher Supervise children at all times and ensure their well-being Assist with daily routines, including meals, transitions, and activities Communicate effectively with staff and leadership Uphold TAG Academy's standards of professionalism and care Restock teaching materials or supplies. Requirements At least 6 months of childcare or classroom experience Current Pediatric CPR Certification Reliable transportation and ability to respond to last-minute coverage needs Must pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements Nice To Haves Experience working with multiple age groups (infant-school age) Strong classroom management skills Positive, team-oriented attitude Passion for early childhood education and literacy development About Us At Talented and Gifted Academy, we are dedicated to providing high-quality childcare that fosters a love for learning from the very beginning.
