Substitute Teacher :
Responsibilities Implement teaching plans as provided by the teacher Provide instruction in other appropriate activities Maintain standards of student behavior Supervise students in and out of classroom activities Location Various Eastern Suffolk BOCES locations in Suffolk County Benefits Flexible Work Days, Work Part-Time - 1 or more days per week Opportunity for a permanent position Work with students to enhance their educational experience Ability to join the New York State Pension System Training provided Mentor assigned for ease of transition Good working environment Work/Life Balance Job Qualifications Must have New York State Teaching Certificate Fingerprinting Background Check Willing to be called on an "as needed basis" Application Procedure Studies show that women and members of some groups are more likely to underestimate their qualifications for a position.
