Summary We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual to serve as a Substitute Teacher. The ideal candidate will provide instructional support and classroom management in the absence of the regular teacher. This role is essential in maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring that students continue to receive quality education. Responsibilities
  • Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a respectful and productive learning environment.
  • Engage students in learning activities and encourage participation.
  • Provide support to students as needed, including assistance with assignments and classroom tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and behavior.
  • Follow school policies and procedures, including attendance and reporting requirements.
  • Adapt to various classroom settings and grade levels as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and school matters.
  • Participate in professional development and training as required. Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom dynamics and address diverse student needs.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to different classroom environments and teaching styles.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
