Immediately Job Description Substitute Teachers (K-8) 2026-2027 School Year Epiphany Catholic School is seeking a substitute teacher for the 2026- 2027 school year. This position performs instruction and classroom management on an as-needed basis under the supervision of the Business Manager. Our substitute teachers agree to abide by the educational policies and procedures of the Diocese of Arlington and those of Epiphany Catholic School. You can expect a welcoming staff and wonderful students at Epiphany, all of whom value your time and flexibility! As our students deserve the best, the expectations for our substitute teachers include: Creating a classroom that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of our students. Maintaining a safe and orderly environment to promote learning. Appropriate dress to present a professional image. Ensuring all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect our students. Ensuring all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect and maintain equipment, materials, and the facility. VIRTUS training, fingerprinting & a background check are requirements of employment.
