Job Description

Guest Teachers (Substitutes) Immediate Need Stafford Childrens Center at Stafford Technical CenterWe are urgently seeking dependable and caring Guest Teachers (Substitutes) to support our Preschool classrooms at the Stafford Childrens Center.

Located within Stafford Technical Center, our state-licensed Childrens Center serves children ages 35 and partners with high school students in the Education & Human Services program to deliver a developmentally appropriate, literature-based curriculum.

When our regular staff are out, we need reliable individuals who can step in to maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Your presence ensures our classrooms remain open and our young learners continue to thrive.

Immediate openings Flexible weekday schedule (7:30 AM 4:00 PM) Supportive school-based environment Training costs covered Entry point into early childhood education Primary Responsibilities Support daily classroom routines for children ages 35 Assist with instructional activities and play-based learning Supervise students to ensure safety at all times Follow lesson plans and staff direction Maintain professionalism and adhere to licensing regulations Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent OR Certificate of completion from an Education & Human Services program Experience with preschool-aged children is preferred but not required. State Requirements (Must Hold or Be Willing to Complete Prior to Serving) 9-hour Orientation Training Mandated Reporter Certification Pediatric First Aid & CPR Fingerprinting and comprehensive background check must be received and clear prior to starting We will guide you through the process and cover required training costs.
