Minimum requirements:

Substitute Teacher

• Associate's degree in any field AND WI Substitute License or Valid WI Teaching License We will walk you through how to apply for a Substitute License if you do not already have one. Substitute Paraeducator
• HS Diploma/GED Substitute Special Education Paraeducator
• WI Special Education Aide License, valid WI Substitute License OR a teaching certificate We will walk you through how to apply for a Special Education Aide License if you do not already have a valid license (a general sub license will cover this position as well).

Pay rates:

Substitute Teacher:

$135/day

District Retiree Substitute Teacher:

$175/day

Substitute SPED Aide:

$17.50/hour

Substitute General Paraeducator:

These plans are not sponsored by Kelly. Teacher Responsibilities Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported. Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions. Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher. Paraeducator Responsibilities Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs. Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions. Substitute paraeducators may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher's aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant or education assistant.
